HOW WE HELP
Cultural Soul Centres main focus at present is to help support the black mature elderly seniors of Lewisham and surrounding areas to provide them a safe community cultural space.
ISOLATION AND LONELINESS
A significant reason Cultural Soul Centre was founded in 2020 was to support the black community and community members that struggle with loneliness and isolation, a factor that was highlighted during lockdown.
FIGHTING POVERTY
One of our major goals is to ensure that the most vulnerable and at-risk groups are safe and have their basic needs taken care of due to their financial hardship. With your generous donations and volunteering efforts, you have the capacity to help us in our endeavour of fighting poverty.
DEALING WITH MENTAL HEALTH
A major factor that Cultural Soul Centre was founded in 2020, was to tackle the stigma that the black community members struggle with regarding depression, stress and mental health.
FEEDING PEOPLE
A main priority at Cultural Soul Centre is to help feed the mature elderly seniors in our community, an issue that touches many lives, particularly those in the Lewisham Borough Lee Gate area. We spend a significant portion of our resources on tackling this problem. in a climate of ever increasing costs.
